Nintendo-Demand & The White House + Nintendo Direct + More games & loot!

Nintendo-Demand... called the White House!

We called the White House (and left a message with one of the staff for the President)... in defense of "Net Neutrality" because it was the only logical thing to do for something that matters so much. The internet is a place where various people are able to be heard, able to create businesses, connect with family & friends, advertise, online gaming... and all this other stuff. There isn't going to be 100% good online, because there isn't 100% good in this world... but moves made out of greed wouldn't help. If a business gets control of what it's customers access online, upload, and/or download... we'd probably need requirements before uploading anything, and it could prevent truth from getting out also.

These things are in addition to the fact that... we pay these people for internet access, not to be our internet police trying to make money at every turn.

Did you watch Nintendo Direct for Nov. 5th (2014)? No?! That's okay, because... here it is!

We knew there were going to be updates, but we didn't know what they were going to be. Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D will most likely be a #1 seller before launch. Enjoy the show!

Nintendo 3rd party needs more oomph... yeah, I said it! Why?

During a Nintendo Direct presentation this afternoon, Nintendo dropped a moon-sized announcement: Th ... You've probably just watched Nintendo Direct and you're pumped (we were too), but there still needs to be more. We commend the indie community doing their best to deliver games on Nintendo platforms... and we hope to see more of those games began to vary in size. It would require support of those indie games so that the studios are able to bring even more... but the trade off is that they have to be good.

These could be the 3rd party developers of tomorrow filling empty slots and forging new ones that other 3rd party developers passed up (on Nintendo platforms). There are multiple games arriving though, and some have already landed... so game it up and game some more when the others arrive.

Speaking of games, Persona Q is less than a month away... and the Wild Cards Premium Edition would make for an awesome Christmas gift (for fans of such games that celebrate the holiday).

You also have the Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric... Wii U demo available today (Nov. 11th, 2014). The 3DS demo of Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is available also... and if you're trying to figure out what version you'd like (if either), try them both out. I hope the development teams put a massive amount of love in these games with no technical bullshizzle, I mean (think about it)... if this is supposed to be some sort of new ground (with new looks, adventure, etc.) for the blue blur and his friends, then go all out and make sure it works right. I expect even more from these teams because of past experiences (as professionals)... and i'd think they'd want to protect their track records. No excuses, just great results... because they've proven they have the ability to deliver (great results).

Nintendo + LootCrate = Amiibo?... Holy cheese puffs!

Nintendo is taking a creative route to deliver amiibo to fans via lootcrate. So instead of trying to hunt them down... due to availability, you have even greater incentive to get lootcrates because they will deliver select amiibo figures to you (after the launch). I think that it would gain even more interest if lootcrate subscribers got them before the launch... but its not a big deal.

You have to sign up for the amiibo subscription service... and i'm not entirely sure as to how much it will cost, just know that subscribers will receive 10 pre-selected amiibo. They will be separated into 3 "special" lootcrate shipments... according to Nintendo. We're not sure if there will be 3 in one package, 3 in another, and 4 in the other... but they did notify us that "subscribers will receive 10". Anything less... let them know, but overall it's a very good idea that will only be available for a limited time (if you want it, don't sleep on it).
