I guess GameStop wanted to beat BestBuy to the punch as far as hosting a Mario Kart 8 event... and its great that there is the opportunity to win this awesome bundle, Nintendo should have such a reward for a Mario Kart 8 launch tournament too!

The moment some artist have been waiting for is finally here with... Pokemon Art Academy!
Art Academy has been around since 2009, and Pokemon before that... but I guess Nintendo got the bright idea to finally combine them for the fans that have always wanted to draw Pokemon and draw them (somewhat or surprisingly) well. I'd say that if you've always wanted to buy a version of Art Academy, this may be the version to get, especially if you are into drawing characters and learning the step-by-step techniques of what it takes to create them... which should extend beyond just Pokemon (if increasing your own technique for original work is important to you). Fun it up!
Speaking of Pokemon... Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire feel like they are being released too soon
Before you label me a Pokehater... I just want to say that Pokemon X & Y were released less than a year ago in the U.S. Having a yearly release schedule is not a good move... even if it does well in sales (which it will more than likely do well) the annual route could be over doing it, that increases the risk of franchise burnout. This could also decrease incentives to look forward to the next adventure if one is coming out the following year, and like other games... it runs the risk of feeling the same as the previous installment.
The Pokemon Company has enough talent to fill in the blanks with other IPs, and I hope they make strong use of it moving forward. Speaking of moving forward, this weekend felt like it was in overdrive... where did the time go?! lol Game on!
