Professor Layton, Google Xbox? (Hmmm), TPP crap you may want to know about, and games on Club Nintendo you may want to get before they expire.
Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy is out, and while this game franchise is known for its various puzzles... I would love to see a full 3D adventure released on the Wii U that immerses us in investigations (obviously requiring puzzle solving and a lot more) that make strong use of the gamepad and really brings the world to life even more. The cut scenes could remain, but to have an almost seamless transition from cut scene to gameplay... would be beautiful. Adding a bit more action to the gameplay would be great too... as long as its done right, and instead of the Streetpass challenges and spot pass puzzles... that can be translated into Miiverse challenges like case creation or something.
There are plenty of fans that have jumped on this game so far, but if you haven't played a Professor Layton game before and you want a change of pace game... give this some consideration. If you get it, or have gotten it already... fight the urge of asking for help or you're paying for someone else to beat your game for you. ;)
The Artwork always makes me think of Lupin the Third, though I don't know how they'd form such a story... I think a cross over title would make for a very interesting game (in a great way), possibly titled "Professor Layton and the illusive Lupin the Third". I could just imagine it, Lupin has some great adventures under his belt, and as a master thief, he could be the perfect competition... or unplanned partner.
Try out 1 of the 3 demo puzzles here (better yet... all 3... once available):

Microsoft may sell the Xbox Division after deliberations? Who knows, but either way may the Xbox continue to live for the sake of its supporters. I don't see a sell happening, but I can't predict the future.
If selling it off means fantastic improvements that are PRO-consumer... make it happen... but who should be the company to get their hands on it... Amazon, Google,____?
If Amazon got their hands on Xbox, owners could have access to Xbox Live as part of their Amazon Prime subscription.
If Google got their hands on Xbox, it may translate into Google Drive being usable for game saves without a paywall, and games could be purchasable through Google Play, etc.
While I don't see it actually happening, there are investors who want Xbox One, Bing, and the Surface... gone. It seems that they want to focus primarily on catering to businesses. Either way... as long as it doesn't stop supporters from gaming, thumbs up. If the passion for the division has decreased (though its hard for me to say that it hadn't even with the XB360), it should be sold off or else the supporters suffer. If the CEO (Satya Narayana Nadella) can turn up the heat in a way that doesn't focus on paymium gaming and all of that crap... it should be kept and may FAIR business practices allow it to prosper.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership could ruin a lot of things online and offline, don't sit by and allow it to happen.
If something can affect the masses, shouldn't the masses know about it? If its not bad, there should be no problem with people voting on it right? That's like GMOs, if its okay... why hide it from the people buying the crap?
