Sony may be cancelling a project at the Santa Monica game studio (the developers behind God of War) due to layoffs? Well that sucks, but they say that its for the sake of re-alignment against priority growth areas within SCE WWS.
I hope this doesn't result in a lost game (because that's a waste of resources in itself... unless it wasn't exactly far in production and the game stunk), but if the game was worth developing I hope they consider continuing the project at a later time (instead of it being cancelled all together). There has to be a way of making things happen without overdoing it, because lay offs suck royally for the people that have to find another job.

Hate it or love it, you have to give props to Nintendo, for not pushing resources to the point that they have to make constant cuts to their team. They don't believe in layoffs for profitability either, they consider layoffs a decrease in morale which result in bad games. Based on the games they produce... it makes sense (which morale SHOULD be high in those with a nice stable job).
You can bash a console all day, but (remember) if your favorite studios are having trouble... your focus is in the wrong place. Again, this isn't knocking valid feedback... that's a beautiful thing, but make your comments worthwhile.

Molyneux considers Fable III a train wreck, and a lot of people agree.Though games don't always require a gamers input (especially in terms of story) I wonder how many provided feedback... as far as gameplay is concerned? Reach out to the people buying those types of games... and i'm not talking the yes-men.
Long live great games because those worthwhile experiences are what keep gamers gaming (especially if we can afford to). The focus needs to be on affordability... it has to be (as far as realistic pricing is concerned), because the more that's kept in mind, the more realistic day 1 purchases become to a lot more gamers versus buying used.
If you have Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, take a deep breath and don't lose your mind... just because its Nintendo, it doesn't mean a game is going to be easy, but you can do it. Just choose the right team through enough trial and error... you should succeed, and if you play a perfect game... record it! It's been getting a lot of praise, and is a number 1 seller on Amazon, but play it for yourself, not because someone else likes it (and a good team mate goes a loooong way).

There are quite a few people trying to figure out quell reflect on the 3DS also, asking how to beat puzzles... but how does that help you in the long run? It can be frustrating when you can't wrap your brain around a challenge, but that's a part of the challenge (and the same happened with Mighty Switch Force). Get your worth out of the game without someone helping you out... I don't want to sound mean, its just a lot more rewarding.
