What can you check out in the eShop this week?... hmmm... good question. Etc.

What can you check out in the eShop this week?... hmmm... good question. One game in particular really makes me wish that there were a new game starring FF7's Vincent Valentine... the game doesn't have to be similar to Castlevania games, but there is so much versatility going to waste. I still have Derge of Cerberus, and actually wouldn't mind an awesome HD remake of the game... tweaked to perfection. I think it was a little stiff based on what I remember, but that was so long ago I can't even recall that as one of the cons, but overall it was a decent game. Would I like to see what they could do with it now? Of course, but a side scrolling adventure wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Anyway... after checking out the post, check out the recent video inspired by Donkey Kong titled "Gorilla Wayfare", and If you haven't checked out Chibi-Robo!: Photo Finder on the 3DS eShop... go ahead and give it a whirl (if you have the space of course).

Other games include:

UNepic | Wii U (eShop)
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest | Wii U, 3DS (Virtual console)
F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition | Wii U (eShop)
Bomb Monkey | 3DS (eShop)
PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures | 3DS (eShop)
Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff | 3DS (eShop)
Saban's Power Rangers Megaforce | 3DS (eShop) < You know what, I wanted to be a Power Ranger at one point in my life. :p Would I suit up now? Yep! lol

Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, etc... sales forecasts are just stupid to me. You can't predict the future, you don't know what will happen, and when it comes to Nintendo (many outlets are looking for more negatives than positives, even when the positives overshadow the negatives). My suggestion would be to invest in some tape, and cover your mouth the next time you consider issuing a sales prediction... because what's going to happen... will happen, and even though its more positive than negative (you usually won't hear about it).

There is positive in the negative though:

Increase your positive results by severing your ties with those that make a negative impact on the company. Sending things to a media outlet known for being anti-Nintendo is just... dumb and I've seen fanboys review games and completely rip them apart... while later contradicting their opinions by comparing other games to Nintendo games with a sheer want for Nintendo's games to be on their favorite console. The unbiased outlets make more sense.

Keep doing the awesomely unsuspected (I didn't see "X" coming... and I look forward to it with great anticipation. If it's better than Xenoblade Chronicles... it may gain players for years and years... just like XBC.)

Sell reprints of Xenoblade Chronicles on your website!!!

Consider your own smaller Nintendo shops in various areas locations (as I've mentioned before) where you can represent yourself and games on your platforms better (than most retailers... goodbye to a middle man that is probably biased based on incentives by another company).

If a game just seems like it should have multiplayer... make it happen (i.e. like multiplayer Super Mario games), some people don't have friends or additional controllers to satisfy an offline multiplayer experiences.

Make sure that you cover various genre's, and reach out to the people that actually want to support.

Make a deal happen with that stubborn mule Sega to get Shenmue games on the system.

There is a lot of awesome headed our way (as mentioned before) so media outlets being overly enthusiastic about promoting this, really means nothing... just deliver, listen, and shut the hell up about sales forecasts. This doesn't only include Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft... some 3rd parties are guilty of this as well. (As mentioned in the past) Square-Enix's big mouth made games look bad even though they sold well.

The list goes on, but you get the idea. You have exclusives that inspire duplication (but they can never be replaced)... you don't charge for online multiplayer... the media and social options are there... soooo... just focus on delivering the goods, and try to listen to your supporters without giving outlets unnecessary ammo.

I think it would also be a great idea if you hooked us up with eShop credit or Club Nintendo coins for recommending people (just create some form of verification process to prove it). Incentive actually helps, especially if someone never thought of it before.

Enjoy your weekend, it's game time!
