Namco places Nintendo fans on the back burner + More

Project Cars will reach the Wii U... dead last!

I couldn't just let this one slip by... and I understand where the anger is coming from. Namco got their hands on this game... and then that's when it gets delayed for the Wii U. Nevermind that the other consoles its being developed for came later (they were already working on the Wii U version) so to know its being released after the others... is basically the chopped liver treatment with poop on top and a side of WTF?!

It shows supporters (who wanted it on the Wii U) that they aren't a priority. The backers have the most room to be pissed off, because their support is going on to fund other platforms for someone else's enjoyment while theirs gets delayed for sometime in 2015... and that's incredibly messed up (for lack of a better word).

Developers... stop doing this crap(!), you tarnish your reputations this way (especially when it comes to Kick Starters). How appealing is the game going to be on the Wii U AFTER the game has already been released on other platforms? Let's just say... I wouldn't chip in on a pizza if I had to wait until everyone else ate first. The game could sell, but the hype around the game would've worn off... and you'd only have yourselves to blame if it doesn't sell as well as it could've (don't even dare try to blame Wii U owners either). We've contacted Slightly Mad Studios about this, and if they provide a response... it will be listed. If you also have something you'd like to express to them, post it in the comment section.

Perhaps they can compensate by giving Wii U owners any/all DLC for... free or selling the game at half the price (returning half the Wii U backer funds, if it can be determined who donated for the Wii U version). It would be the least they can do considering the FACT that the demand for this game was the highest with Wii U owners (at least at one point).

Maybe it was higher for Wii U owners because other console owners have Gran Turismo & the Forza series... but that doesn't matter. Either way... short end of the stick bs needs to stop, especially with someone else's money (and this doesn't happen in gaming alone, remember that).

Some may think about what happened with Rayman Legends, but that game wasn't initially slated as a multi-console release (it was going to be an exclusive), and Wii U owners had to wait for everyone else as the food got cold on their plate. In this case what was advertised... changed (which includes PS3 & Xbox 360 versions being cancelled). Crowd funding can never be treated as a "I do what I want with your money" because those are crowd funds with specific expectations. Would you opt for a refund?

The good thing is... there are a lot of great games being released on the Wii U so the money you may have been saving for this game can go toward something else (like Super Smash Bros on Wii U & 3DS or Bayonetta 1 & 2)!!! I think that there could've been a bit more flare when it came to the GameCube controller for Smash... but its cool that they made it possible to use it through a connector. Great way to recycle also.

Knowing that so many people are being laid off from Microsoft... we hope that everyone lands on their feet. Recruiting so many people has always been a concern to us, especially if there isn't a secure way to maintain such a large team. Something is better than nothing, but being able to RIP Xbox Entertainment Studios. When we initially heard about it, we thought it was crazy for them to pull the plug. They didn't have to go super big with the studio, it could've been a creative fun little start up unless they seriously wanted to get into the film and TV industry. If they are able to deliver the Halo production... great, but if not... that would suck and they'd seriously have to execute their plan better next time (if there is one).
