Now that we finally have more info on the SSB Invitational, here it is!
Date: (Tuesday) June 10th (2014)
Time to grab wristbands: 9:30am
Grab your wristband @ NOKIA Plaza at L.A. Live, 777 Chick Hearn Court (Los Angeles)... you need this in order to enter. 3,000 wristbands are available so you have to grab one quick. They request that you don't line up prior to Tuesday morning, but if someone traveled, and wants to take part in it... to heck with that request (or at least go out earlier that morning).
Doors open: 2:30pm
Invitational begins: 4:00pm
By the way, if you dress up like an SSB character, you MAY be selected for priority seating right up in front of the stage. You'd be filmed and photographed on that note and will likely appear on Nintendo's Twitch and Youtube channels. If you end up going, have a great freaking time no matter if you get into the invitational or not, its E3!
Of course if you can't make it, you can always stream it on Nintendo's Twitch channel.
Steam In-Home Streaming was mentioned to Valve, so we expected it, and its here!
I'm going to take advantage of this. Streaming from a desktop to a laptop connected to a TV in another room, definitely allows for more portability with Steam without the need for a Steam Machine. Granted you don't need one anyway, but the convenience of not lugging around a desktop is a beautiful thing (unless you have a nice gaming laptop). Gotta love options, and the weekend is coming up, so if you were planning on Steaming it up this weekend... Game on!
By the way, don't forget to use your Club Nintendo coins before June 30th (2014)!!!

EA... listen to your game testers!
If your game is worth buying and keeping for a gamer's permanent collection... you're doing something right.
If your game doesn't crash multiple times when played online... you're doing something right. This is especially important when a game is an online-only experience, but no games should have the problems of those experienced during production time (if a retail game is as problematic as a beta... that's bad).
If your game doesn't remove features or items only to be listed as day one DLC... you're doing something right. Never sell day one DLC, discount those freaking season passes for day one purchasers that want it, and that will be incentive enough to buy the game day one.
If your game doesn't require additional purchases to be a complete experience... you're doing something right.
If a game doesn't require internet, don't force it to.
Don't wait until the eve of meltdown before you truly make a change. I'm not talking about the changes you tell everyone you will make, i'm talking about the ones you actually make.
