Mario Kart 8 is near... I see the racers in the distance! + Free Wii U games!$

Do you smell something? Wait... that's the smell of burning rubber, that can only mean one thing... Mario Kart 8 is coming soon! Soon soon, less than a month soon, and I think more than a few people will be tempted to call in to work (which has happened before).

Not only is it an honor to buy an awesome game like Mario Kart, but on top of that... the Regginator provided additional information:

Get a Free Digital Game: People who buy Mario Kart 8 and register the game with Club Nintendo before July 31 will receive a free Nintendo eShop download code for an additional Wii U game. Players can grow their Wii U digital game collections by choosing from one of these well-received Wii U games: New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD or Wii Party U. That’s a two-for-one deal featuring some of the all-time great Wii U games. This offer also applies to people who get the game in the Mario Kart 8 bundle or digitally in the Nintendo eShop.

Even Filsamech said that no one can hate on a deal like that, and if you factor in what you could save by getting the bundle (which the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Set bundle will be available in the U.S. now... at least the Mario version) you are saving some money if you were planning on getting the console when the game came out, and one of the 4 games being offered for free.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Set | $329.99 Retail
Can't argue with BOGO knowing that it didn't have to be available, and these types of incentives are praised beyond being incredibly smart. Why?... Well... think about it, they are rewarding you for buying "New", which benefits them versus the games being bought used and only benefiting the used game market. For those who don't understand why this is important... just know that sales keep game developers alive and well, especially if games are their primary source of business. Not everyone is able to buy new, so its always good when the ones that can... actually do. Anyway, the game must be registered between May 30th & July 31st (2014) in order to receive the free game download code.

Based on the video, we will have 30+ races to enjoy, + includes our Mii's... and honestly I'd probably give Baby Mario a break on that note. Want to know who some of the newly announced characters are?... Watch the video above. ;) I am still uncertain about some of the newer items though, but something to combat the blue shell is beautiful, oh how that blue shell is a gift in your arsenal and a curse from someone else.

Top 5 things I look forward to in Mario Kart 8:

1.) The gameplay
2.) The visuals
3.) The horn to combat the blue shell
4.) Uploading gameplay to youtube
5.) Mario Kart TV
