Child of Light is near... were you looking forward to it?
Even if you weren't looking forward to this game, it will be released on the Wii U (eShop) April 29th (2014)... consider getting it if you've been seeking more variety and affordability. Ubisoft gives 2D another go... which is something that should never be pushed aside, because every game doesn't require 3D.
Its always great that artist get to showcase their skills beyond concept art, and this RPG shows how beautiful the results can been. It will run you $14.99 USD and I hope it is packed with a good amount of content (not to mention quality game play)... that results in well deserved sales and reviews to possibly welcomes a sequel of a potentially rich story.
If the story ends with this 1st installment, i'm alright with that as long as we aren't left hanging or the story is rushed for the sake of reaching the overall conclusion. If there is too much to put into this game regarding the story, I'd rather experience the right way, but we shall see what happens.

Mario Kart 8 Premium Pack has some nice additions... but!
Looking at the UK Mario Kart 8 Premium Pack Special Editions that give you the option of choosing between the Mario them and the Luigi theme (deep breath in)... they should have seriously considered doing something with the console itself like making one red and the other green. Going that route would have totally increased the rarity of such a system and made it a lot more desirable to buy the bundle than a la carte. It would've been cool to also have a silhouette of them on the console to personalize it even more or put a sticker or decal in the box so owners can tag the console or something. This is currently a UK exclusive, which may not hit the US or JP... oh, and (speaking of Japan) these bundles also come with (a 7 day trial of) Wii Karaoke U.Nintendo eShop time!:

Net Neutrality Updates: We, the people need to be the ones speaking out more than the FCC about what the end results should be... in my opinion.
If internet service providers accept money from big companies for the sake of people gaining access to their websites faster, then what was the excuse we couldn't gain quicker access to them before? It all (obviously) points to profit... but if someone were already paying for internet to host (and all that good stuff), is it fair that they are basically being neglected of performance because an ISP wants to capitalize on more profit?
If it doesn't affect current speeds, it may promote a shrug of the shoulders in some people, but what if that's only for the companies prior to the date this is set, while other companies are lost in a grey area with partially accessible websites because their money isn't good enough?
I can't forget about the possibility of data also being sold to the highest bidders. Granted data is already being gathered from both the conscious and unconscious... but why should companies get to profit off of your data if you don't get to? Cheap or Free internet options with the full consent of sharing your data in return... should be an option for those that don't care.
The FCC wants to hear from us about Open Internet... here is what they had to say, and here is the email address they've established for our feedback (Seriously... be heard!):
The Commission will consider proposed rules to protect an Open Internet on May 15. The proposed rules will ask questions about how best to ensure the Internet remains an open platform for innovation and expression.
Chairman Wheeler is encouraging the public to share their views now. He intends to have rules of the road in place before the end of the year to protect consumers and entrepreneurs. He will be listening, and your comments will help inform the final rules.
