Nintendo E3 + Game Reviews + Hey, is that a little birdie?

E3 is approaching, and I don't know about you... but I am excited to see what everyone has to offer (on all platforms), and most definitely Nintendo because there are games I have been waiting on for the Wii U.
Will we get to see more on MonolithSoft's X(?), Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem(?), some out of the box wth omg this is really happening types of surprises? Maybe, until then... all I can do is wonder.

By the way, one of those little birdies paid us a visit and informed us that a potential IP with Nintendo (one of the ones "kinda sorta" mentioned before) has taken a slight step forward (very slight)... but not to get excited until it actually happens.

The Pure Chess review is now available, and out of left field we may be doing a Fifa 14 review on the Xbox 360... just because EA has games like this, games that should inspire them to make a valid attempt with (other games like) future NBA Live games. They won't/shouldn't have the same cookie cutter UI and set up (obviously) but if they want to be taken serious, they have to come serious without buggy quick buck attempts.

It doesn't matter what Michael Pachter thinks of Nintendo (or really what he thinks at all... to be honest), but we thought you'd get a kick out of this picture... because he (like some others) seem absolutely dumbfounded (as mentioned before) when it comes to Nintendo products... and how to use them (especially the Wii U gamepad).

Don't get me wrong... no one has to support Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, etc. but when you ACT like you don't understand how to use a Wii U gamepad... yet you're able to understand and praise tablet integration for games on other systems, you may be a hater.

We had a blast this weekend, talked to plenty of gamers and it was fanboy-free, just talking about games we like... games we really don't care for, those we'd like to try and look forward to, etc. All based on personal preference... and it was awesome. I'd like to see more gamers challenge themselves to not throw someone into a fire (figuratively speaking) based on the types of games and even systems they own, because everyone will never like the same exact games, and just because you can't wrap your head around why someone doesn't have the same preferences as you... doesn't make their preferences bad. I will say though, that everyone should keep an eye on developers and the things they do though... even if you love them so that you can call them out on any crap you don't approve of. This not only keeps them in check, but it could also help maintain the quality of the products you love them for. Game on!
