Facebook, treat the Oculus Rift well

They change features too often on the site, and want to gain as much info about you to the point that it sends some running for the hills... and I can't forget about the ads.
I really hope they don't get in the way of this thing, because they wouldn't be shooting themselves in the foot... but I see it as them sitting back thinking "Hey... we won't have to worry about the users attention being on anything else beyond whats going on visually within the device, so ads would be right there increasing the profit margin!".

The reason it could be a good thing on that note (at least for the company) is because it would have its own library of games, which could involve a lot of exclusive games that take advantage of the headset's features. That's a double edged sword though, because the freedom is reduced on that note... knowing some developers wouldn't have a problem making their game compatible with the device without requiring another publishing process.
Don't mess this up Facebook and it will be good for everyone involved.
Why won't I be getting one? Well...
- I didn't care for the Virtual Boy
- I only wear sunglasses when I have to
- I like seeing what's going on around me
- I wouldn't want to have that similar feeling I get when washing my face, you know the one where it feels like someone is creeping up on you? ROFL
Animal Crossing is Otaku friendly

(Series creator) Katsuya Eguchi & (New Leaf Director) Aya Kyogoku have already spoken (with Joystiq) about how later installments could incorporate mobile devices into the experience... and that would only increase the Otaku compatibility + appeal.
Hearing that though, I go back to the next handheld being a phone or doubling as a cell phone if we add a sim card. That would disrupt the phone market big time... and I would be a proud owner.
Nintendo Power... to the Women? Yes, variety adds to the creativity.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf had a team of about half women & men... not to say that sex is the siding factor, but assumptions of who is creative versus who isn't, shouldn't boil down to sex, race, etc. or prepare to be boxed in. Developers keep this in mind and breathe new life into existing IPs... not to mention new ones.
