Developers need to treat gamers better... we've said this before, but others are seeing the light! The Special Edition 3DS XL's make me curious about something else, and also...

Funomena's Robin Hunicke isn't saying anything we haven't said before... but i'm glad its being said, spread the word! More developers need to treat gamers like people (instead of numbers and profit).

It's very Very VERY important that this is done, because that's when a games quality matters more. A developer goes from making something for the sole purpose of it selling well... to looking forward to gamers enjoying the game they've developed in hopes that we consider it as awesome as they do. Even if its not 100% passion, there should be more passion than greed.

Don't get me wrong, business and keeping track of the budget, etc. are important... because it keeps a developer around to provide even more titles for us to enjoy and keeps them employed (just leave the greed out, and i'm good).

The Yoshi Special Edition 3DS XL launches on March 14th... but take note, this isn't a bundle containing "Yoshi's New Island".

Don't be mistaken by the box art (seen on the right) and the release date, Yoshi's New Island is not bundled in the package you see here... (it doesn't say so either) so don't trick yourselves into believing its a bundle (compare it to the image seen below).

Something comes to mind with all of these special edition 3DS's though, Nintendo should create various game cases for an affordable price... not exclusively to Yoshi, but for their entire roster of Nintendo characters in past and present form for those of us with basic systems (and those who want to switch up the current design once in awhile).

What would likely happen is multiple purchases from those that enjoy a variety of options. They don't have to pre-create them either, if they could get a manufacturer to make them based on the way we want the art placed... that would be sweet (aka the art can be applied to clear cases). They can have set design templates, but the ability to customize... would likely be appreciated... I'd probably have Nintendo characters covering the entire case. This was sparked, because I would've liked to see a bit more going on with the art on this 3DS XL.

Since posts are a lot more frequent than reviews, we wanted to create a page to prevent them from being overshadowed and lost in a sea of news. Current reviews are being listed at this time... with pending reviews to follow: http://nintendodemandreviews.blogspot.com/

Adults want Mario Karts too!
I was going to mention this when we initially received the news not to long ago, but... kids and people able to fit in this Mario Kart... are lucky. I would love for Nintendo to work with a manufacturer to create a bigger Mario Kart so that adults with no shame (arm raised proudly)... can hope in and enjoy our own life sized Mario Kart. They can even do something like add in water valves so that we could spray others (in replace of special items)... but knowing me, i'd probably have some water balloon to increase the fun factor! Maybe they could get someone like West Coast Customs to produce more adult sized ones. VROOOM!!!
