Azure Striker Gunvolt... directed by Keiji Inafune... is prepared to explode onto the 3DS this summer (2014) in Japan and the US and I hope that its incredibly challenging + Mario Kart 8 L.E.

Gunvolt (a psychic with the power of lightning) is the main character of the game... fighting against an oppressive conglomerate power (called the Sumeragi). He takes on this adventure with rebels that fight for the same cause of taking down this super power. I'm not sure if we will be able to use the other characters or if they will only represent NPCs (aka non-playable characters), but I look forward to checking out this game and hope that the growing powers of Gunvolt get more and more impressive as the challenges increase.

It looks great, and I can't wait to see how they utilize the 3D feature in this 2D side scrolling action game.

I hope that Inafune creates a strong library available for the 3DS and may Mighty No. 9 have the biggest sales on the 3DS (compared to the other versions). Now... before you sound the alarm to call me a fanboy (which would actually be pretty funny but), this would be a seismic slap to the face of Capcom. Why?... well they scrapped Megaman Legends 3 for the 3DS, and I want them to know (deeply... i'm talking ocean floor deep) that they made a huge mistake. http://gunvolt.com/

Mario Kart 8 MAY be sold out on Amazon right now, but that doesn't stop you from signing up for notifications or getting it else where. It was available for pre-order for awhile... but that is no longer an option through the site.

I see that its available at various others though, so if you plan on getting it at release you may want to jump on a pre-order that doesn't charge you until then (if you don't have the money at this time and want to ensure that you have a copy).

The UK gets a very cool Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition bundle that comes with a (freaking) Blue Shell. Will the US get something of the sort?... who knows, but one of the bigger releases is headed our way! (Check out the Ad below... Baby Mario for the win!)

It's Friday, enjoy yourselves doing all that does the opposite of making you miserable (and doesn't harm others)... Game on!
