An anonymous source from EA said that EA considered the Wii U dead early on. Of course Peter Moore had to chime in... but it really doesn't matter (actions speak louder than words). Instead of trying to speak on Nintendo, they may want to invest a LOT more of that time and attention into making stable games. ;)
It boils down to showing & proving... to show that Peter's post is more than just a tweet. I can't read his mind, but I seriously believe that he posted this because they have more than enough problems to deal with... not for the sake of being truthful. When games are made available for the Wii U, that's when "otherwise" will be proven... but they can't be games just thrown together. Maybe they can release a new IP that challenges their creativity. Use Nintendo's quality games as motivation... i'd rather download additional content more so than several updates to fix problems. Fixing problems is good... but having more content to look forward to would be a bit more welcome (which adds to an already "complete" game).
This is for the parents that just don't understand that entertainment does NOT take their place... EVER.Blaming games for a child's behavior, is forever ridiculous (just stop it... stop it right now... yeah you, stop that), and the time and effort invested into blaming games, music, etc. is sad... especially if you have the option of providing them with an alternative option to what you're complaining about.
Teaching a child goes a long way (and that responsibility falls on the parent/guardian), especially if you can teach them to be a leader more so than a super impressionable follower. Just keep in mind, if you open a can of worms by giving your child a game that you may later regret or blame... that's your fault (not the gaming industry). Should a liquor store receive the blame if a parent gives alcohol to their child? Treat the games that exceed their age group... like alcohol. :p
