Club Nintendo brings us the Luigi Box? + Titanfall: It's Respawn's turn

Club Nintendo has one beautiful addition to the site... that being the Super Mario Accessory Box (aka the Luigi box).

This item will cost you 700 of those precious coins you may be saving up, for the good stuff. Is this a worthwhile purchase to you?... I have no idea, but if you want it get it before supplies run out (especially if you're a collector).

The Luigi box's dimensions are... 11(W) x 7(D) x 5.5(H), but here are some images to give you a better idea of what can actually fit in the thing.

In addition, they also have the games below available for download until April 6th (2014):

Kid Icarus of Myths and Monsters | 3DS (eShop) - 150 Coins
Number Battle | 3DS (eShop) - 200 Coins
Yoshi | Wii U (eShop) - 200 Coins
Bonsai Barber | Wii, Wii U (eShop, WiiWare)

Club Nintendo exclusive games!:

I like that we have the option of getting games through club Nintendo, but I think that they should create more exclusive games that are only available through Club Nintendo (in addition to the exclusive "GRILL-OFF WITH ULTRA HAND!"). If you can't get the games anywhere else, that would encourage gamers to stockpile as much coin as possibly to add the games to their collection... and Nintendo heads might thing "Why not just profit from the game?", but the coins would obviously be gained to purchase the game based on OTHER purchases for Nintendo platforms. They obviously don't have to be huge games, but if they are fun... it would worth checking out.

It's time for Titanfall, and we recommend the PC version if you have the option!

Respawn Entertainment... how hopeful I am that they make a positive impact with this title (as mentioned before), especially based on the past occurrence that made this possible (the situation that occurred with Vince & Jason... the co-founders/ex-members of InfinityWard). Depth, fun, and stability are what i'd expect from this title (especially with almost 3 years of development)... and since we aren't exactly big on promoting paygates... the PC version is the one we'd recommend to those that don't want to take that route. It's just the beauty of being able to go in and enjoy what you've paid for at anytime without an additional cost (because it is a multiplayer-only).

Minimum requirements for the PC version are:
  • OS: (64-bit) Windows 7 or 8
  • Processor: AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
  • Memory: 4GB RAM
  • Video card: (512MB) Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT

If you're able to enjoy this game using Eyefinity (with 3 monitors)... thumbs up, but either way... if you get your hands on the title, game on (no matter the platform)! The "Burn Cards" may cause some of you to think about the Call of Duty Killstreak rewards... but you have to keep in mind that these are the co-founders that made COD, so consider it a signature of sorts. You will have the ability to use up to 3 burn cards as your level rises in the game, and there are a variety to choose from.

I hope that there aren't burn cards that create an unfair advantage, because that can really throw off the balance to me... but most appear to be enhancements. You can take on an enhanced opponent a lot easier than you could an insta-kill missile being dropped on you, but (But BUT)... don't play the game to compare it to other FPS games (it is what it is).

Now... do I think this game is worth $59.99? It better be(!), but i'd say that a more ideal price... would be $49.99, or even $39.99... if there isn't much depth beyond leveling up and using an additional burn card. If it were on the Wii U, the gamepad could've been used to display the map, loadout selections, and your burn card deck... with category buttons to switch between them.

There will be Titanfall Launch broadcasts galore on Twitch TV, so check them out if you get the chance.
